CAKE DEVIL'S & POTATO GNOCCHI

 
 
 
 
 
 
Salam..

Aku tengok ramai sgt dah try kek setan ni jd aku pun nak gak rasa kek setan ni tp tak mau ler jd setan.Aku tengok kak nor secubit garam buat cantik aje tp aku sememeh.Kek ni idak ler besor mana jd utk family kecik mcm aku ni sesuai ler kek kecik gini.rasa nya ala2 brownies sikit sebab agak padat tak mcm kek biasa yg gebu tu.utk aku buat masa sekarang ni kureng sikit sbb aku memang suka kek yg gebu tp utk abah memang sesuai lah kot sbb aku tengok asyik dia aje yg mkn dr kat umah sampai kat gerai dah tu esok nya buka peti cari lagi kek tu nak buat sarapan sbb aku kureng jd ada lah lg stok dlm peti aku pun tak bg sape2.Sebelum ni pun Koi pun ada gak buat utk mkn2 sempena besdaynya.Jom layan resepi

Ingredients:-
1 cup all purpose flour
1/4 cup cocoa powder-( Ayu used Valrhona cocoa powder)
3/4 tsp bicarbonate soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup granulated sugar-Ayu used 1/4 cup ikut ayu punya sukatan
1/2 brown sugar- Ayu used 1/4 cup
65g butter
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup buttermilk- (homemade 1 cup milk added with 1 tbsp distilled vinegar leave to rest for about 20 minutes, but use 1/4 cup only ya for this recipe)ibu guna yogart
1/2 cup warm water

Method:-
Set your oven at 170C
Prepare your cake tins.
Sieve flour, cocoa powder, bicarbonate soda, salt, and set aside.
Beat butter with sugars until light and fluffy, add eggs.
When all well incorporated add the dry ingredients (flour, cocoa powder etc) and alternate with liquid ingredients (buttermilk + warm water) in three portions, last incorporate the vanilla extract.
Bake for about 30 minutes or until just cooked

Cream Cheese Frosting-(make 1/2 the amount next time)
250g Philadelphia cheese-(next time just use 1/2 this amount for the cream cheese)
125 butter
1 cup icing sugar-Ayu used 1/4 cup
1 tsp vanilla extract
juice of a squeezed slice of lemon
Beat the cheese and butter, just until creamy, add the icing sugar, vanilla and lemon juice.

Chocolate Ganache-(make 1/2 the amount next time)
200ml double cream with at least 30% fat content-I used whippping cream
250g dark chocolate, chopped finely
a pinch of salt
In a double boiler, warm the cream until just at boiling point, add the chocolate & salt and stir. When all the chocolate has melted, remove for heat and continue stirring until all well mixed.
Let the cake cool completely, spread the cream cheese frosting and pour the ganache on top.

Ni pulak masa kes gila kentang ari tu selain aku buat korokke aku buat gak potato gnocchi tp tak sempat masak semua yelah dah byk sgt nak masak nya.jd aku buat potato gnocchi tu dulu lepas tu simpan dlm peti 2 lepas tu baru masak sos bolognaise tu.memang sedap giler walaupun rupanya tak cantik.kembar mkn sampai menambah tp tambah sos aje sbb gnocchi tu ibu dia buat besar sgt org buat comel2 aje ni kes nak cepat siap buat besar2.Mari kita layan resepi pulak jd klu rasa nak try apa2 resepi berasaskan kentang blh cuba ini resepi yer.t.q mamafami yg sudi syer resepi.memang marveles sgt

Ingredients for Gnocchi :

1 kg potatoes
30 g butter
2 cups plain flour
2 eggs beaten
Parmesan cheese - grated

Method :

1. Peel potatoes and diced. Boil in a covered pot till tender. Drain and mash until smooth.
2. Stir in butter, eggs and flour. Set aside to cool.
3. Turn the cooled dough onto floured surface and divide into two portions.
4. Roll the dough into along sausage shape. Cut to 1/2 inch size dough.
5. Press with the back of a fork to give it the traditional gnocchi pattern.
6. Bring water to boil in a large pot. Add gnocchi and cook till the pieces rise to the surface.
7. Using slotted spoon, drain the gnocchi. Place in the serving bowls.
8. Pour the sauce on top and sprinkle some freshly grated Parmesan Cheese. Enjoy.

My Bolognaise Sauce

Olive oil
4 garlics ~ chopped
1 onion ~ diced
4 pieces beef burger ~ thawed and crumbled
2 large tomatoes ~ diced
Kimball Spagetti Sauce
Dried sweet basil
Red, yellow and green capsicum ~ diced
Sugar
Salt

Method :

1. Heat olive oil in a pot. Add chopped garlic and fry till golden brown.
2. Add in diced onion and still till translucent.
3. Add in beef burger and stir till half cooked.
4. Add in diced tomatoes. Stir and put on the pot's lid. Leave to cook.
5. Add in the Kimball Spagetti Sauce, salt, sugar, sweet basil and capsicums.
6. Let the sauce simmer for another 5 minutes, covered.
7. Remove from heat and ready to serve with gnocchi.

Note:
Utk dpt gnocchi yg lembut mesti rebus lama sikit jgn dah timbul lepas tu angkat sbb rasanya akan keras sikit jika rebus lama lembut aje masuk mulutnya he..he..
